Purpose and Scope
Ohio public-records rules can make some booking information available, but the record source changes with the person’s status. The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office operates the county roster and holds county booking material. The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction maintains a separate state-offender search for people in state custody or supervision. Mercer courts show what happened after a booking. We collect those official paths and explain their limits without publishing photographs or records ourselves.

What This Resource Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility, ODRC, or any other government agency.
- It cannot release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
- It cannot post bond, arrange visitation, or send funds for a visitor.

Only the sheriff, corrections staff, court, or other originating office can confirm current custody, charges, release, or a record’s official status.
